Training Schedule
The Belles run approximately 5.5-6.5 miles at each of the weekly club runs. The first Monday of each month is the longer run with a usual distance of 7.5-8.5 miles, during the summer months, but with a shorter option to return back to the Cranford Sports Club for those that wish to.
During winter months, on a three week cycle runs will generally be scheduled as:
- 5.5-6.5 steady
- Hill training
- Sprint training

Cally Rowland Lapwood, the club’s social secretary coordinates the formal Belles events, to include the Christmas Party and sometimes an abroad trip each year (to include a run!)
However, joining the Belles is like joining a new family, so throughout the year there are birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, house warming parties and the infamous Prosecco Belles just before Christmas.
